Welcome!
Do you love the simple pleasure of walking? Why not join us for a weekend walk in the North West’s fantastic landscapes.
We’re a friendly group who all have an obsession – the love of walking in Britain’s stunning countryside. Most of us live around Cheshire and our walks programme takes advantage of the countryside that surrounds us: The peak District, North Wales, Yorkshire, Lancashire and the Lake District. We also organise weekends away so we can go further afield. We have walks for most abilities from flatter walks in the Cheshire countryside to strenuous mountain hikes. Most of our walks are at least 10 miles long. Our walks descriptions give more information from the length to how steep the walk is. If you’re unsure contact the walk leader who can give you more information.
We tend to use our own transport to get to the start of walks, we encourage car sharing to do our bit for the environment. This enables us to really explore our fantastic countryside. Most walks are circular and we usually end up in the pub or café for a well-earned drink after.
If you love walking and the great outdoors, you may have found your tribe. Give us a try. We’re proud to be part of Ramblers, who campaign to protect the natural beauty of our countryside, promotes walking, maintains pathways and safeguards public access to land.
Our walks programme is here. Information about joining the group is here. We are part of the North & Mid Cheshire area of the Ramblers.
