Description:

A strenuous walks with sublime views.

Initially, climbing the 2-3 mile ridge which leads directly from the edge of the lake to the summit of High Street (2,718 ft), via the summits of Rough Crag and Long Stile.

From High Street, we then descend to Mardale Ill Bell and the Nan Bield Pass. Then, final ascent of the day to the summit of Harter Fell, with supreme views of Haweswater & back down to the car.
