Welcome

Welcome to Cheshire Walkers - the walking group covering Cheshire and the surrounding area. We have members throughout Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside.

We organise a selection of walks of various lengths, from short walks in Cheshire to energetic mountain hikes in a variety of locations including the Peak District, North Wales, the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. We also organise weekends away and a variety of social events.

If you enjoy the great outdoors and would like to meet new people, and have fun whilst keeping fit then we are the group for you.

Come and try us out! You are welcome to join us for 2 or 3 walks before joining. Membership of the group is by joining the Ramblers Association (we are part of the North and Mid Cheshire area), which just costs £27 per year and after this all our walks are free! First Aid

Six leaders/members have recently completed a one day course at a local college to become first aiders. This was paid for out of group funds.

Membership List Problem

Because of a major computer problem in the membership department at the head office they have been unable to communicate with new members joining since the beginning of 2008. So apologies if you've recently joined but haven't heard anything.
